2021 Soroptimist Soup Night & Silent Auction

For over two decades, Soroptimist International of Davis has offered our Soup Night and Silent Auction event. We provide delicious soups, stews, and desserts; lively conversation, and shopping opportunities through our silent auction. This year, our event is once again virtual with an online silent auction and dinner.

Our online silent auction will run from November 11 at 8 AM through November 18 at 8 PM. Starting November 11, you can peruse and bid on our silent auction items that include gift certificates and donations from local merchants, holiday decor, a variety of gifts to choose from, and the ever-popular handmade soup bowls made by Davis High School art students.

SI Davis is partnering with Dos Coyotes Border Cafe to offer their southwestern meal for you to pick up and take home or enjoy at both the North Davis and South Davis locations.

SI Davis is part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve social and economic empowerment. Funds raised from this event support these efforts in Davis and Yolo County.

Join us September 25 for LUNAFEST®!

SI Davis is the local host for LUNAFEST, a lineup of eight short films by female filmmakers. The films will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Davis Odd Fellows Hall beginning at 3 p.m., or online that weekend.

This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives that champion women and gender-nonconforming individuals, highlighting their aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength and connection.

Though the films are unrated, they are most appropriate for ages 13 and up.
