Our approach to service is threefold:

Awareness: increasing knowledge through programs and seminars at clubs, conferences and conventions.

Advocacy: Making Soroptimist positions on issues known to councils, legislative bodies, commissions or others considering measures in our areas of interest.

Action: Undertaking projects that will lead to improved conditions.

Monte Carlo Night

WHAT: Themed evening of games, live and silent auction. Play Texas Hold 'Em, "22", and Bingo while enjoying a festive atmosphere of community fun.

WHEN: March 21, 2009

WHERE: Veterans Memorial Center, Davis

WHO: Proceeds go to grant recipients in the community.

Tickets go on sale in January, 2009.

 

Beer Booth: Picnic in the Park

WHAT: A beer and wine garden staffed by Venture Club and Soroptimist International of Davis members.

WHEN: Wednesdays during Daylight Savings Time from 4:00 to 7:00 pm

WHERE: Davis Farmers Market, Central Park, Davis

WHO Benefits: Funds are awarded to community nonprofits who submit proposals
